REMINDERS
There is only one entrance to the PSC Lake - and that is through the gate. Any members found going around the gate, in any type of vehicle, will face disciplinary action. If non-members are found by-passing the gate, and trespassing on club property, they will be prosecuted. As Sportsmen, it is our responsibility to manage and preserve our property and its resources. It is your club - take care of it! |
STAY INFORMED!
Join us at monthly meetings. If you are getting your information from another source, you are likely being misinformed!! Meetings start at 7:00 NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS VEHICLE ID STICKERS and MEMBERSHIP BADGES must be visible while on club grounds, at all times when on club property. Members needing gate keys, membership cards, ID badges or vehicle stickers, can get them on meeting nights. |
Work hours are not required to remain a member, unless you are a probationary member. Probationary members MUST accumulate 24 work hours and attend 4 meetings in their first year to qualify for regular membership. Members electing not to put in work hours will be assessed $5.00 for each hour not worked.
At the November 2008 meeting, the membership voted to raise dues for 2009. The money from the current dues and the fundraisers were not sufficient enough to cover the club's annual expenses. The membership voted to raise the value of work hours to $5 per hour, up from the prior $2.50 an hour. In the past, a regular member's dues were $95 annually, which could be worked down to $35 by completing 24 work hours or bringing in $250.00 profit from ticket sales. Effective for 2009, the regular member dues will cost $155 annually, but can be worked down to $35 dollars by completing 24 work hours.
Work hours are accumulated, beginning the first day November and ending on the last day of October of each membership year. Members can earn credit for work hours by working the scheduled work parties, working fish fries, working in the kitchen on auction night, selling raffle tickets, cooking for meeting night, etc. See an officer or chairmen for ways to earn hours.
Work parties may be announced at any meeting. Members can also contact one of the chairmen (officers) such as the archery, trap, range, lake, game, or conservation chairmen to get work hours. (the club can all use your help!) Click here for chairperson contact info
Work hours can be easily earned by volunteering for scheduled club functions, including the auction that is held every other Thursday at the hall. A better route, is to contact a club officer or trustee. There is always something to do, and we NEED YOUR HELP!
